Well folks, it’s tuesday. And tuesday sucks because it’s still the beginning of the work week. So let me make it suck less for you by giving you some places to go to read good stuff. Good stuff is good.
Here’s some feel good, mushy gushy posts that will make you feel, well, good:
Too young? Too old? Funancials will make you think again!
I’m out welding, you’re stuck in an office. We’re stuck where we are. So listen to tiny buddha and become the master of it.
When was the last time you were in total silence? Seriously dudes, total silence. Tough to come by, even my house always has some kinda electronic hum to it! But we need solitude and silence sometimes and Madeiro will tell you why.
I’m not about to start skipping instead of walking, and I’m pretty sure if I sang while I worked I’d get beat up, but Zen Habits does have some solid thoughts about not being a boring old adult.
Money. You like it, you want more of it. Let these guys help:
Free From Broke lets you in on a little secret about the frugal Japanese.
Even if it’s not your first car that you’re buying, you should definitely remember what Modest Money has to say on buying a car.
Contrary to J.D’s blog name, RamblingFever Money has some thoughts on the insanity of getting rich slowly. Oh and hey, his blog has moved, so check out the new one.
So you’re trying to karate chop debt in the throat. Deliver Away Debt has some good words about how your relationships should be handled when you’re karate chopping.
Ever thought of your kids as investments? Haha, it’s a funny thought, and yet… let From Shopping to Saving give you some thoughts on that.
Who only wants to think about money? Here’s some other awesome stuff:
I’m a dude and I think about dude things. Like kicking like Bruce Lee and punching like his holiness, Chuck Norris, and learning to hit the speed bag like Rocky Balboa.
8 Bit Dad has some thoughts on kid’s toys today. One up-ing Just Add Vodka saying that our 90s toys doomed us financially, 8 Bit Dad says today’s kids toys doom civilization all together.
Speaking of the doom of civilization, Prairie Eco Thrifter has some solid thoughts on the loss of privacy (and it’s scary stuff when you see it all mentioned in one place!)

Dayman, fighter of the nightman. Champion of the sun. He's a master of karate and friendship for everyone.
Here’s some awesome stuff for me that doesn’t really help you:
I was mentioned in a roundup by Modest Money – holla!
I got into the Yakezie Carnival at Daily Money Shot and the Lifestyle Carnival at Free Ticket to Japan.
And I had my very first guest post (What You Don’t See Does Matter) over at 101 Centavos.
Pretty freakin’ awesome stuff for the Awesome Edition of the Blue Collar Roundup!
Photos: Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, Rocky, and Dayman/Nightman.

Thanks for the link TB! I like your commentary on all of this. I have to agree with you – Tuesdays still suck because Monday was just yesterday. I thought today was Wednesday actually. Good idea to do link round-ups on Tuesdays. I still haven’t posted mine yet from last week… procrastinator

I hate when I get the days of the week wrong — it’s so disappointing!
Thanks for the list or articles. I am going to check out a few of them.

I actually don’t mind Tuesdays but that is just me. I guess I enjoy the feeling of accomplishment of making it through Monday.
Thanks for the link to Marie’s article. The privacy stuff is quite scary. I agree.
Congrats on the guest post too. If you ever want to write on my site, just email me.

Great round up. Bruce Lee is my favorite. He was not only the greatest martial artist of his time, but also had a great deal of wisdom.
Thanks for the mention TB. I like the personalized commentary about the links too. I really should be doing something like that with my weekly link round ups. And sorry for not dropping by lately. For some reason some of my rss feeds just aren’t properly updating in my feed reader.

Might not have been a problem on your end, my rss feed thing got messed up and I had to take it all down and put it all back up again. I think everyone who had an rss feed for bluecollarworkman got dumped. I think everyone who had the feed has to re-sign up again… not entirely sure though. Stop by whenever you can man, I remember you mentioning changing up your approach a little bit … do what ya gotta do, no hard feelings!
